Gas Station Arts Centre
The Gas Station Arts Centre is a performing arts venue located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The theatre hosts a variety of multidisciplinary events and performances throughout the year, including being one of the settings for the annual Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
The Gas Station Arts Centre’s management asked Safe Haven Air Technologies to provide an air purification solution that would enhance the indoor air quality in the theatre helping protect staff, performers, and the patrons who attend the various performances held within the facility. With the ease of health restrictions, the management team was particularly concerned about reducing the risk of transmission of any communicable pathogen, especially SARS-Cov-2.
Safe Haven provided an assessment of the premises and then completed the installation of RGF Environmental’s air purification technology that has been tested and proven to neutralize both airborne and surface-dwelling SARS-CoV-2. This air purification technology now helps provide continuous air and surface decontamination within the main theatre seating area, the stage and backstage areas, along with the entire front lobby.
Vast indoor air spaces, like those found in theatres, can be effectively treated against harmful airborne pathogens by utilizing the HVAC air distribution ducts to carry non-chemical oxidizers out into the entire
air-conditioned space neutralizing contaminants on contact.
