TRANSCONA SALON SPA

Transcona Salon Spa is a full-service salon located in Winnipeg, Manitoba that offers a wide variety of services to both male and female clients. Treatments provided include all forms of hair care, manicures, pedicures, microblading, micro pigmentation, and more, all of which require close personal contact between the client and the esthetician. 

The owner asked Safe Haven Air Technologies to provide a solution to help mitigate the risk of airborne, or surface-based transmission, for the
SARS-CoV-2 virus in their facility.

Their objective was to provide a safe working environment for staff, and to assure their clients that the most advanced form of air purification technologies available was in use in the facility.

The REME HALO LED air purification system was installed in the air ducting in the salon providing full building airborne coverage against not only the current concern with the Covid virus, but also many other transmissible pathogens, such as both the flu, and the common cold.

Individual treatment rooms that were not served by the heating and cooling ducts had individual air purification systems installed providing the same protection in those spaces.
